Install LibreOffice
Oracle buying Sun was owner of OpenOffice and other open source applications. Consequently, a group of developers made a fork that called LibreOffice . This new office suite is sure to be included in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal replaces OpenOffice.
If you want to try LibreOffice preliminary version, the 3.3.0 RC2 before it reaches Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal you can install with the following commands. The following commands delete the OpenOffice system, add the repositories and installs and updates libre libre. So we only copy in a terminal:
sudo apt-get -y purge openoffice*.*
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice libreoffice-l10n-es libreoffice-gnome
Bear in mind that still may not work correctly.
